An Evening With Denise Van Outen on 17 March promises an unforgettable night of music, laughter and showbiz stories from her dazzling career. Audiences can expect all her timeless hits, behind-the-scenes tales and all that jazz in an evening which promises to be unfiltered, up close and unforgettable. Don't miss Seann Walsh as he returns with his brand-new side spitting comedy on 19 March. After his sell out 2023 tour, Seann Walsh returns with his uproarious and high energy stand up show naming it after the thing he says most in life, This Is Torture. Masterfully blending his personal insight with humour, get ready for a night of guaranteed giggles as he turns life's frustrations into comedy gold. Get ready to raise the roof and turn up the volume with Rock For Heroes at the Hazlitt Theatre on 20 March. Community takes the spotlight with MAOS Grease from 23-28 March. This Amateur Dramatics production promises to be an electrifying journey back to the 1950’s, complete with unforgettable music, dynamic choreography and the timeless story of high school romance. Alasdair Beckett-King returns on 29 March with his brand-new stand-up show, King of Crumbs. This multi-award-winning comic and internet sensation brings an evening of non-stop laughter and clever storytelling which is guaranteed to leave audiences in fits of laughter.

Not forgetting the everpopular Maidstone Film Society as they bring not one but two screenings of unmissable films this month. These include The Last Dance (2024) on 9 March and Hard Truths (2024) on 30 March. Film passes and memberships can be purchased on the Maidstone Film Society website.

In addition to the Hazlitt Institute and MAOS, continue to support local talent this month with a range of amazing community shows. Kicking off the month on 7 and 8 March is Elements of Dance presented by the talented Kent School Of Dance. Get ready for Prima Stage School on Saturday 14 March as they present The Power Of Seven. This showcase explores how the number seven appears throughout culture and creativity and is an exciting showcase of song and dance exploring how patterns often unfold in groups of seven. Taking centre stage on 20 March get ready for The DrumWise Student Concert. This exciting evening of rhythm and creativity showcases the students of DrumWise playing some of their favourite songs on stage. Closing the month on 28 March, Lily Webb School of Dance presents Seasons 2026. Get ready to stomp through autumn leaves, glide across winter snow, twirl through springtime showers and leap into summer sunshine as our brilliant dancers take you on a whirlwind adventure through the seasons in the intimate setting of the Hazlitt Theatre's Exchange Studio.
